hibiscus, red currant, dried fruit
Cascara is fruit tisane, made out of dried skins of the coffee cherry. In Spanish cascara means “husk,” “peel” or “skin”. These pulped skins are collected after coffee beans have been removed from the cherries. They are then dried in the sun before they are packaged and shipped off
- Best to infuse in french press. Use 10g of cascara for every 200 ml of hot water, let it steep for 6-10 min
- Delicious as iced tea in summer.
- Very low in caffeine
